Who is it for?

This workshop is intended for professionals who plan and lead activities for children at heritage sites, as well as those who are interested in the subject.

The workshop will be very interactive, so dress comfortably and bring your inner child with you.
The programme will run from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. on both days. There will be a one-hour break for lunch.
We will be in Rogatec, near Slovenia’s biggest open-air museum. The workshop will take place both at the open-air museum and at Strmol Manor. We will also be surrounded by nature, so everyone will have direct access to the heritage “material”.
You can apply for the workshop using this Google Form. Applications will be accepted until June 1, 2022, or until all of the available positions have been filled. After this date, participants will receive more detailed information on payment and the workshop.
Janja Sivec is an interpreter with over ten years of experience in heritage interpretation. Her professional passion is planning and leading programmes for children. Her collaborations include the Bee Path in Ljubljana, the Geopark Idrija, the Museum of Baroque in Šmarje, and many more. Janja is also an Interpret Europe trainer and a member of a group working on a module for children’s interpretation for Interpret Europe.

The workshop costs 120 euros.
Participants are required to pay a fee via bank transfer at least 5 days before the workshop begins. After you apply, you will learn more about the payment. Because the organiser is not included in the VAT system, the price of 120 € is final.
